War of the Worlds - Horsell Common is an extension of www.thewaroftheworlds.com, the hugely popular official fan social site for Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of The Worlds. The creator of the network wanted to provide a social platform for his users to interact on, however he didn't want to have to invite everyone to sign-up all over again, so used the SocialGO API tool to import his existing member database.

TrikePilot (http://trikepilot.socialgo.com) was set up by a microlight, or 'trike' enthusiast. He had an existing community on a networking site, but found SocialGO offered many features he was missing, so invited all his members to sign-up to his new, improved network.

JanetLove is a great example of how to use SocialGO to expand an existing website. JanetLove started life as a fansite for Janet Jackson, with hundreds of subscribers.
