Super Social Bowl XLVII

Posted on February 1, 2013 by Lawrence

The San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens are ready to battle it out this Sunday at Super Bowl XLVII. And as many of us gather together for a frenzy of buffalo wings, pizza and (probably too much) beer, let me introduce to you an interesting thought. Now that social media is such a huge part of our lives, have you wondered what this might mean for the upcoming Super Bowl Sunday? No doubt fans of both sides (and possibly disappointed fans of teams that didn’t make it to the playoffs) are going to tweet like crazy about their celebrations, defeats, outrages, and excitement.

Sysomos, a social media company, has been super helpful in compiling an infographic with all you need to know about the social media aspect of the coming Super Bowl.  The detail is awesome, especially how they’ve managed to show the favourtism of opinions on social media of each team.

So who are you rooting for? Will it be the San Francisco 49ers, or the Baltimore Ravens?
