WidgetLaboratory wanted a blog to keep existing and potential customers up to date with their new software developments and announcements. But they wanted more than to just create a blog where they simply posted stories and readers commented. They also wanted an environment where their passionate customer base could interact with each other, learn about new products and get help.
WidgetLaboratory used SocialGO software so that a traditional blog appeared as the home page while a social network section sat behind the blog. It was the best of both worlds as Widget Labs had a normal blog to keep their more casual customers up to date and a social network behind it for the more passionate customers; and it all came from SocialGO!
